they told me to aim for the sky..
they told me when i was younger to aim for the sky. for a while, i thought it was a silly notion.. "aim for the sky, pffft.. thats like throwing a rock to the sun, knowing it will just come back to earth".

well, i did it. i touched the sky. against my cynicism.. i was aiming for the sky. maybe because i wanted to take off, and leave everything behind.. maybe because i wanted to feel air between my feet and the ground.. i gotta quote kanye on this one..

Ive been so busy with work, which is good cos theyre sending me everywhere.. next month im going back to arizona. and by july im going to the academy up in colorado springs. ive been such a douche cos ive been trying to keep myslef busy, that i forgot to say happy birthday to the best girl ive had the pleasure of calling m best friend.
